about a (fantasy) love that felt real, but wasn't.

my love for you is like a dream-

seems so real, then fades away.

my love for you has me in chains-

chains that melt away too soon.

to me, you are:

a ghost,

a haze,

a hologram,

a fantasy that feels so real.

 you make me:

laugh,

cry,

fly,

fall,

cross my heart and hope to die.

 to you, am i:

a faraway star,

or the sun that brightens your day?

the perfect work of art,

or another random doodle?

my heart, my love, is killing me.

never thought i'd feel this way.

i'm trapped- i'm just a victim of

my imaginary love.
