Iron Mind, Iron Soul. A poem about my love for lifting weights.

The gym is not my home, its my sanctuary.

My only escape from this worlds brutality.

The one place where my dreams become reality.

Where mortals reach immortality.

The iron never lies, nor speaks.

But separates the strong from the weak.

A silent killer, rebuilding physiques.

Where every step, is a step closer to your peak.

A fire burning throughout the night.

A page in history, that’s mine to rewrite.

A flight of stairs leading to new heights.

The only place failure and success are always right.

With passion and glory, my body will tell a story.

My heart and soul are the tools in my inventory.

My mind will lead me to perfection and prosperity.

The iron is where I will achieve my destiny.
