Looking back I don't think love was much of a muse, all my love poems seem corny now

You alone can save my life, you who I so truly love
For every where else I see, your face so perfect beauty of.
The shimmering clouds floating by, flowing down your wondrous hair
The glimmer of the sun across a lake, captures me like your eternal stare.
A passing breeze along my neck, as gentle as your precious skin
Your joyous smile which greets so often, stirs love with all else vanishing.
A sculptured statue of a goddess pose, pales beside your shining eyes.
You arms and hands and fingers, I do instead visualise.
Your entire body from head to toe, each curve and line I remember.
And each memory stops my heart, breath forgotten as love is stronger
You take away all else and leave, A perfect heaven just you and me.
