Missing you like no other.
when i reach out,
its as if you were never there at all,
just a mist in my pitiful thoughts.

Once a happy child,
never always a happy child,
going through pain,
hiding my shame.

Second chances,
where's my second chance aye?
giving you my smiles,
you cant notice the pain you once made.

Tears trickling down my cheek,
wondering when you're going to notice me,
mummy right by my side,
where's my daddy? I use to cry.

Every little girl dreams of her daddy being her superhero,
yet you were never there at all,
staring out of the window,
waiting for you to call.

You're here now, it took you years,
I've always been here,
yet you've just realised what you did,
you were suppose to be the adult yet acted like the kid,
wishing you were someone else,
memories that can never be taken,
good or bad, we have been through the gist of it.

we've been there,dont that.
worn t-shirts and all that saying,
but it's life your messing with,
not a game you're playing.

Life's not an Xbox,
you dont press the off button to end
our end is more painful,
its hearts that switch off in the end,
remember that when your 6ft under,
And I'm a survivor of this world you created.
