Enter wood and enter silence, not for long
Chirrping of a thousand birds
breaks it, stabs it in the heart
brings it into soft a melody
that makes you feel courageous, strong
Walk through trees and streams so clear
There and then a fish swims by
And smallest of those other creatures
Crawl and scramble, climb and fly
Carried by the wind, the scent of freedom to me so dear
Cracking branches, running swift
To catch a glimpes of sunlight, emerging from the heavens
A sight so rare, through the foilage ever green
As the rays touch my skin, and all those other living things
Grasses, leaves and bushes fruitful, long awaited this sunlit gift
Countless meadows, patches green and bright
Surrounded side to side by pleasent shadow
Where the long grass grows, and rabbits dig their holes
Where little fawns learn how to walk, and journey from their homes
Looking up at the white patched sky, kissed by the kindest, warmest light
Finally I venture past, countless tree trunks towering towards the sky
Breaking through the boundary bush, full of thorns and hateful barbs
But at last I look upon, my latest challange far beyond
The desert, hills and countless plains, before I reach the sea
As night is nigh and my soul is weary, I lie and dream of how to fly
