KNIFE BANDIT

He wandered the streets

Seeking someone to stab

Coldly with his steel blade

He toyed with it – in with his fingers

Swatting imaginary flies

Wanting to kill anyone

Blind with hate and whitewash evil

Knife Bandit adorned with black mask

Like seen worn by TV fiends

Terrorists, men in black, meaningless

Forgetting his old Gran and her wisdom

He met his rival – moving in for a kill

Not noticing the other knife

And something else, a gun

Knife Bandit fell into a puddle

Friends walked by his side

Laughing, scoffing, ignorant

Blood and guts found by evil

Knife, bullets and bloody boots

GOD BLESS HIM, press said

NO ONE ELSE DID…

THE END
