What happens where curiousity and forgetfulness intersect...

I know not why I looked at the sky

When I knew I'd see the sun.

I knew it was bright, but I didn't mind

Because it was loads of fun.

My vision was blurry and my pupils were thin,

Lo and behold, for reasons untold

Out of nowhere, I do again...

Then another day, I heard a "friend" say

That pole is cold, but you can lick it and walk away...

And out of the blue, I forgot it wasn't true,

So you can guess what he got me to do...

So my good friend, if you see something heavy standing on end,

Don't tip it over like me.

I did it once and hurt my knee,

Believe me, once is one time too many.
