I used to do so good,

What's happening to me?

It hurts so bad to know

that I'm failing miserably.

Can't you see how hard it is

to make the ragged ends meet?

Don't you know how hard it is

to stand on your own two feet?

When the ground starts to tilt

And nothings in it's place.

But my heart is not in the race.

Can't you see im trying?

It's just so easy to lose.

With shaky hands and cheeks streaked with tears,

I tie my home-made noose.

So many times i have won before

That it's just so hard to do this now.

All alone with the token of ny failure

I'm left asking "How?"

How could I let it slip away,

This chance that was mine.

How could I go and waste all that precious time.

So many people believed in me,

Now they turn their back.

Don't want to root for me anymore,

I'm going to end it all.

You're holding Shame's Race

And I'm taking failure's fall
