Standing on the roof top; looking over the rail;

Wondering just how bad it would hurt if possibly I fell.

You haven't been the same for awhile now, you left me all alone.

For some reason you're eyes are bloodshot, and you never stay at home.

Remember last summer, when you pushed me on the swing?

We didn't do anything that afternoon but laugh, dance, and sing.

I  guess all our good times have come to an end,

After daddy died you found a new best friend.

I've always loved you mommy, and I still do, even now.

But I guess whatever you do is better than me somehow,

And guess what mommy? Now I do it too,

I'm killing myself, just like drugs are killing you.
