I never saw you coming,

You hit me so fast.

I was flawless before you found me,

But all that's in the past.

You came right at me like a bullet,

And peirced my fluttering heart.

It hurts like hell to be with you,

But I've been at your mercy from the start.

For you it's just a game,

As you twist beneath my skin.

It's all my fault, I suppose,

For I was careless and let you in.

Buy you could show more care,

Let me show the world how I feel.

Instead you numb me from the inside,

Until I can't tell what's real.

It's like being smothered,

This twisted game you play.

I'm losing my breath now,

And don't know what to say.

I can't bleed around you,

But I'll stay and be your pawn:

Cause deep down I know you love me,

As the arrow loves the swan.
