Have you ever sat down, and thought for a moment about life? Question the values we all know as normal; get up, go to work, sleep, repeat. It unequivocally feels less and less normal the more
you ponder. Then, it hits. This depression like no other. It feels unnatural, painful to live in such a world. Why do we all learn from a young age to stand for the flag and respect our country? Why is there any reason to respect said country? For all its racial injustice? Its wars? Its bombs dropped on innocent people? War on drugs? Standing proud for your country is looked upon as a good thing; but sitting and questioning how the world really is, and what it could be, is far more valuable.
