*Is this a good short story? (Tell me what you think!! Please & Thanks!)?*

“So. . .I guess I'll see you later. I had loads of fun. Ha ha thank you.” I beam shyly rolling back and forth on the balls of my feet. We were standing on my front porch the night turning cold. “No you didn't.” Connor sighed looking down. “What? I did, I did I swear!” I rebound trying to explain myself to him. He looks back up at me and smiles. It sends butterflies through my body. I couldn't help but smile back also. Connor swallowed and leans forward his lips puckering slightly. A whole new sensation covered my body. Was I suppose to kiss him? Is he trying to kiss me? I am panicking. I hear him chuckle, and my cheeks turn crimson. I waited to long! He returned to his former stance and smiles again. My heart sinks. “I'm sorry.” I murmur in a hushed tone. I am just embarrassed now. “Why?” He asks his eyes sparkling. “I-I didn't kiss you.” I might as well tell him the truth. “Oh! Not because I didn't want to, just because I-I'm nervous.” I mumble and stutter my voice breaking in places. “Hmm. May I ask why are you nervous? Is it the kiss? Me? The whole date? That we are standing in front of your house like a couple of nut-jobs?” he laughs. He sure knows how to make me feel better. I laugh too and shake my head. “The whole thing. It's my um first date.” Did I just say that? Why did I just say that? My cheeks turn a deeper crimson. “Really?” I hear unexpected surprise in his voice. It caught me off guard too, I thought it would be obvious. I wasn't doing very well at this date, couldn't he tell? “Yeah.” I say slowly not knowing what to say anymore. I didn't notice I was looking at my feet until Connor put his hand under my chin and forced me to look at him. My skin burned were he touched me. I thought my heart couldn't beat any faster but here he is making my heart speed out of control. “If I am your first date, then I cannot disappoint you.” He said loud and clear, without any falter in his voice. He grabs my hands with his and he wraps my arms around him and he kisses me. My mind is elsewhere. He stopps kissing me. My eyes are shut, I was enjoying this moment. I felt high, not drug high, but. . .a kind of love high. If that was even possible! I remove my arms from his neck and brush my hand on my arm pretending to attended to a itch. \"Thank you.\" I whisper. \"You didn't dissapoint me at all.\" I murmur my eyes still shut like an idiot. \"That's good to know. Well I hate to leave, but I have to go. Goodbye Haylee.\" I feel his hand on my cheek and I open my eyes. I got everything we were talking about. I stand there staring into his beautiful green eyes. He took my hands again. I really really like him! I grip the fact that I have been standing and staring at him like a crazy person. \"Uh-I'm sorry what?\" I mumble confused. I took back my hands, I just wanted to put them back into his again. \"I have to go.\" He drones. \"Oh, Okay. Um bye I guess.\" I smile fidgeting with my jacket zipper. Connor snickers. \"Haylee would it be cheesy if I kiss you again?\" He breathes. I feel his warm breath. \"I think it would be cheesy if you ask me that.\" I giggle. \"I suppose your right.\" He laughs leaning in and kisses me profoundly one last time before he happily steps off my porch, smiling to himself. \"See you tomorrow.\" He murmurs getting into his car and speeding away. I stay on the porch and sit on the step . I look up to the sky and watch the stars, feeling at peace. Out of no where I see this brilliant blue light shine in the sky. It looks so close I could see the blue, orange, and red flames licking up the sides of the meteor. It was so breath taking, then more meteor's shot through the sky like a bullet, each having their own unique shape and size. I stayed outside watching the meteors and thinking about Connor as long as I could keep my eyes open. Finally when I almost passed out from exhaustion I went inside and went to bed. I dreamed about Connor.
