It was the day of the trip home. I had stayed up really late the night before thinking about everything that had happend in the past month. I was leaving the place I had been for a month to go to my own home. I was very tired. I picked up my phone and the clock read 5:00. I started to think this is it this is the last day I will get to be with my cousins for five more years. I saddend at the thought. But I knew I had to get ready to go. So I went to get in the shower. I tried to hurry so that I wouldn't miss breakfast. When I got out and got dressed. I went downstairs to grab a pice of whole wheet toast with grape jelly. When I finshed eating I went back upstairs to finsh packing all of my stuff. After we were all done; we got into the car. We were starting our two hour journey to the "Salt Lake City Airport". The soulnd in the car was deafening, after all there were thirteen girls, and one boy. Once we finally got to Salt Lake we stoped at "Costco" for a bite to eat. It was around ten thirty when we left. When we finshed there we headed for the airport. When we got to the airport we checked our lugage in. Then we all met up at the elevator. We then headed up to the gates. When we got to the gate in which my aunt and cousin had to leave we realized that we had a few minutes left. So my grandpa offered to take me and my other two cousins (the oldest ones) to starbucks. When we got done there we went back up to the gate. It was then time to say our goodbyes to my cousin and my aunt. It was very sad but I soon realized that it had to happen. After they left we headed to mine and my sisters gate. We had five minutes left before we needed to board the plane. We started to say our goodbyes early because we knew it would be very hard. I said goodbye to my cousins Savannah, Jazzy, and Bailee with tears pouring down all of our faces. Then it came time to say goodbye to my grandparents. I didn't know what to expect. But this goodbye was the worst of them all. I cried and cried I didn't want to leave them. But it wasn't so bad when we got onto the plane. I turned my ipod on and just sat there the whole way with so many thoughts running through my head. We finally arrived at the Dallas airport. We were half way home!! But when we were about to board the plane we found out that our flight had been canceld; due to weather issues. Feeling scared and alone, I put on a brave faceand told my sistereverything would beok. The first person I called was my mom. She didn't belive me at first but she came to find that it was the truth. Abount an hour later we got booked to a new flight. I breathed a sigh of relief I was almost home.
