This is the first poem i started to write after my revalation that i actually wished to begin writing again. So here goes tell me what you think.

walking through the woods one night

walking a trail of pine and meadow

past the creatures that give us fright

and on to a land beyond the shadow

all amongst the wind and rain

i walk to lose sight of all my pain

to find some place beyond the sorrow

and go where i might be happy again

i hope to make it before the morrow

before the stars fizzle out of sight

for walking through the woods one night

i found love's soft and gentle glow

i caressed and held it oh so tight

so it may not decide to go

and bring back all the summer rain

that sent me off amidst my pain.
