Glengarry Moon

Exhibit every star that shines,
Which from the universe was hewn,
Yet none will shine as clear and bright
As did that full Glengarry moon.

That night I sat out on my porch
Listening to a Hallions’ tune,
My eyes were so with wonder struck
When I looked up and saw that moon.

I ran inside to get my phone,
(I knew I had to get it soon),
I quickly set the camera app
And captured that amazing moon.

A photo’s nice, but I desired
With all that beauty to commune
So I just took my paintbrush out
And painted that Glengarry moon.
