There will come a time when I put my hand on my heart,

And open it just for you.

But the darkness within is always conspiring,

And the pain I'm feeling is true.

The strength I bare frames the widow to my soul,

Though still haunted by the shadows I hide,

And the loneliness I bury,

To see your spirit free, and sail in the winds of life,

Is a beacon of warmth to lead me when lost,

Know your happiness is my guiding light.

So hold me closely before you leave,

Let your essense flower in my soul.

My memory shall instill our parting embrace,

For when I struggle through the dark and cold.

Never forget me as I shall not you,

Though now our paths divide,

And walk away wih your head held high,

Knowing the love you have given me inside.
