Beneath the soles of his shoes
That new leaf he’s just turned over
Begins to crumble and flake
Into a dull confetti
That’s whisked by a quiet breeze
Whisked and tossed afar, afar, afar into an empty tar colored sky
The tree before him is bare
His mishap has charred the branches,
Billows of ash choke the air,
And the trunk seeps in droll flame.
Sap trails coil into a pool
Where his withering reflection taunts the promise of reconcile

I don't understand poetry. That being said, I honestly don't get what this is about. But you used proper grammar/spelling, fancy words, and it was set up correctly, so it was good. :)
Sorry this review is so shitty, I just really don't understand poetry. :/ It sounds like you know what you're doing, though, you're a really good writer.

Honestly, I'm barely beginning to dip past the surface of poetry. I sling the words together, pin them up tight, and hope they won't fall. Thank you very much though. I really appreciate the honesty.:)
