A poem about a certain girl who is very close to my heart, who sadly lives a long way from me. I wrote this poem after speaking to her on the phone...

She is a very pretty little girl and will grow up to be a beautiful woman.

Pretty little girl

A pretty little girl with her hair so blonde
A pretty little girl with her hair in a ponytail
A pretty little girl with her eyes so green
A pretty little girl in jeans and boots

A pretty little girl with eyes so sad
A pretty little girl with age in her eyes
A pretty little girl with a frown on her face
A pretty little girl with a serious look

She’s such a wonder to behold
She’s got her Mothers nose
She lights up when she’s happy
She scowls when she’s cross

She’s so much fun to be around
She never stops from morn ‘til night
She wants life to be fun
She’s always got a giggle

A pretty little girl with her daddy’s eyes
A pretty little girl with daddy’s height
A pretty little girl with her daddy’s smile
A pretty little girl with her daddy’s laugh

A pretty little girl with her guitar
A pretty little girl sings her song
A pretty little girl bangs her drums
A pretty little girl plays her keys

She’s her mother’s daughter to a T
She’s her daddy’s girl down to the bone
She’s her mother’s baby, her precious jewel
She’s her daddy’s princess forever

A pretty little girl……….
