Forlorn Hope. Evil has no easy explanation.

Everyone is evil and are good.

Sometimes we watch ourselves do something evil,

Frozen in a scream that's never heard.

We can not stop ourselves, so we go on,

Knowing some where else the horror plays

And plays and plays until we are forgiven,

Healed by someone's gift of unearned love.

Love washes over evil like an ocean Sweeping over seething,

fisted anger Drowning in cold,

quiet depths Leaving you stranded and weeping for hope.

Your good may prevent it

Your prayer may halt it

Your love may slow it

But in the end evil will always prevail.
