One mistake. One stupid mistake totally ruined seventeen year old Rayleigh Connors life. And not only her life, but her future.
What happened on the night of the mistake scarred her deep. So deep that it actually tainted her first year at her dream university. It takes all she's got to put the mistake out of her mind and keep her grades up.
But then she has something else to keep that one night out of her head: another student at her school named Nico Rodriguez.
Nico is smart, unbelievably gorgeous, and everything he does and says makes Rayleigh almost completely forget about everything sad in her life- he's almost everything she's ever wanted.
But is Nico enough for Rayleigh to give up the past and continue with her future, or is the scar of the past too deep for anyone to fix?

One mistake. One stupid mistake totally ruined seventeen year old Rayleigh Connors life. And not only her life, but her future.
What happened on the night of the mistake scarred her deep. So deep, that afterwards, nothing really meant anything to her. She threw away her dreams, grew farther away from her family and friends, and her grades fell hard.
Thinking there is nothing left in her life, Rayleigh runs away, and her life takes a turn for the worst: drugs, alcohol, and a never ending sense of lonliness.
Rayleight thinks she's beyond help, and it might be true. But one man is unwilling to give up on her. Because a true love is something that you can never let go of.
Rayleigh has two lives to choose from now: the life of drugs and drinking, or a life of love with someone that's not willing to give up trying to get back the girl he used to know. Read Chapter
