I lived in a small town, so news traveled fast. It had been about a month before the "vanishing school" story had reached my town a few miles away. Well, it had reached over the entire country, but all the same it caused national interest and investigation. The same question was on everyone's minds "How does an entire school full of people just vanish?" well like the authorities, I too made it my aim to investigate what had happened.

There were theories as to what happened, many named the last student to be using the school's internet as a suspect, but he was found dead. His eyes were gouged out and his throat had been slit, an eye was carved into his chest inside of the school's administration office. The way he was killed shockingly brutal and made many investigators scratch their heads as nothing like that had happened before, they simply past it off as some weird ritual killing. Not being a police officer or of any actual authority, just a curious school student, I wasn't really able to find any evidence, until one day my luck had changed. The police released a report to the public stating that someone had been found murdered the same way in a state across the country and that this was a break in the investigation. The only link was that both boys had been using the internet minutes before their deaths. But both of their search history was wiped clean and no one was able to recover it, so upon hearing about this second death, I found myself online looking deeply into internet related deaths, I read article after article and found nothing but the usual "internet stalker gone crazy" but I kept going further into the search and eventually I started to reach pages of fictional stories, it had been a long night, so I decided to read a few of them. But I stuck mainly to the ones related to the internet and what not. I read pages and pages of them, they were so interesting and scary. I found myself at the "S" section of the website I was using to read these stories, there were a few, but none of them related to the internet but two. They both shared the same website in their titles "SomethingElse.Net" I read through them both and felt as though I should vomit, these stories ... they were... a retelling of the two innocent boys deaths. I soon printed these pages and ran out of my house to the local police station, stating that I had "evidence" at first they did not believe me at all, until I begged and pleaded with them until they finally agreed to read through the stories.

The police had finished reading through the stories and they looked at me in shock, they power walked towards me and put me in handcuffs, I expected this so I went willingly. I said to them, "it wasn't me, but I'll tell you anything you want to know" they remained silent. They put me in an office, there sat the chief, the entire police station was silent, no one was talking, I finally decided to break the silence after thinking for twenty minutes. "I have an idea, why don't you take a look at the website, it might help you with the investigation!" I smiled, hoping that they'd agree with my idea, the chief sat there, staring at me...

Blankly.

He turned to his computer after five minutes of staring at me like I had done something wrong, he typed on his keyboard in very slow strokes, and turned his monitor even slower. He had a word document open and what I saw made me lean back in my chair in slight fear. The document read "They have seen it" I looked around and lent back towards the chief and whispered "Seen what?" I asked, again, he sat there and started at me. He kept the monitor turned towards me, I saw what he was typing...

"SomethingElse.Net" slowly appeared in the url bar. He then turned the monitor back to himself, and then, I was startled by the ringing of the phone in the office. He did not even put it to his ear, he put it to mine, and surely, fear fully struck my body, something or someone spoke through the phone, and in a cold whisper it said, "Are you sure you are in the police station?" I didn't reply, my mouth wouldn't open because of how truly scared I was. The chief hung up the phone, I blinked, all though I didn't want to.  I found myself back in my living room, I had no idea what to do, I left my computer chair in search of my father. I found him asleep in his bed, it wasn't a dream, what was happening!? I ran back to my computer, and quickly went on to the internet and typed "SomethingElse.Net" a page loaded and I felt a massive, cold shiver run throughout my body. A message read on the page, "Isn't your  father at work tonight?"

I tuned aroun-
