What is your least favorite dog breed? And why do you think that? Some people believe that pit bulls or Rottweilers are.

What is the worst dog breed in the world? Pit bulls, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, or even Labrador Retrievers? Well, most of the news networks bring nothing but negative stories to its audiences. I know that there are dogs with bad things going along with their breed. But I wanted to focus on Pit bulls because they seem to always get this bad reputation before the rest of them do. For instance I found an article dated from December 19, 2017. The article title is “Police found pit bulls ‘eating’ owner, 22, after savage attack while she was walking them in the woods”. I found this article to be interesting because dogs are the most loyal creatures on the planet. As reading farther into the article I saw that a cop thought that the dogs were guarding her body when they arrived on the scene. But the news and other media assume that this was obviously done by a vicious pit bull. One of the victims friends said that maybe they would attack with kisses, but that’s about it. Although there are dog attacks, sadly enough pit bulls now have the bad reputation for it. Even though there are a lot of people who have never had a bad experience with them. Another point I want to make is that some pitbulls are bred and raised to fight. Although this is not their fault. Being brought into a world where it is survival of the fittest. Everyday they are forced to fight each other until death. I believe that any dog can act out. But it’s not right to blame or assume that one dog did it.Yes, there will always be dog fights. And yes, there will be the occasional bad dog. But it’s not right to be judgemental about what the dog will be like. We rarely hear about the other bad dog experiences that people have. And I really wish that people would be more open, and willing to give a pit bull, or any other dog with a bad reputation a chance. To give them a good life that they all deserve to have, because they are all really loyal to their owners. To conclude all dogs deserve a chance to be the best they can be. In the future I hope that the stereotypes of these dogs die down, and that they won’t be labeled some of the worst dogs.
