The angry panther was constantly circling around me, licking his chops and snatching at me, I did not and could not move, I was so deathly scared, I could not run, I could not, I could not climb, I could not play dead, I did not know what to do, but to stand there and not move an inch, or the angry panther might have attacked me.

This once, I was walking through the forest picking some berries, when all of a sudden, I heard and saw a small bush shake fiercely. I had jumped with fright, hoping it was not some kind of man eating animal, like jaguar or panther. After about a minute of not moving and staring at the bush to see if any danger would come out, nothing came out, so I went back to picking berries, but being very cautious about whatever or whoever was behind the bush. A minute or two later, the bush began to shake more fiercely than before, I jumped to my feet, my heart pounding so hard, I could feel it in my head, and my whole body was just shaking, I jumped behind a big oak tree, hoping whoever or whatever it was, did not see me, I was so scared, but I knew I had to keep my breathing very quiet, or I would probably be in lots of trouble. I hoped that the creature or person would soon pass by, but never did. It was like thing or person was spying on me, or was planning on attacking me. I was so scared, I could not even move, and my shaking was so fierce, I thought I was shaking shrubs and other smaller plants, and I could not stop shaking, even though I really wanted to, because I did not want to get that thing’s attention for anything.
A little while later, I heard on the forest floor, which sounded like someone walking on dead leaves. My heart beat faster and faster as the thing seemed to be getting closer and closer to where I was. I had to keep both my hands over my mouth to keep me from screaming. I closed my eyes as the creature was approaching the tree. But as soon as I closed my eyes, I heard this growling and snarling noise, I then, opened my eyes as fast as I could, and noticed and huge and very angry black panther staring at me, he was starting to get down like he was going to pounce on me, at that very moment, I was so frightened, I almost fainted, I did not know what to do, I thought about climbing the tree, then, realized the angry panther would probably chase after me.
The angry panther was constantly circling around me, licking his chops and snatching at me, I did not and could not move, I was so deathly scared, I could not run, I could not, I could not climb, I could not play dead, I did not know what to do, but to stand there and not move an inch, or the angry panther might have attacked me. I felt like screaming bloody murder, I wanted to get a very sharp object and chuck it at the panther’s head, I hated the thing, the deadly look in his eyes, the piercing fangs that stuck out of his jaw, I wanted to smash his head in two, but I was so scared at the moment, that I could barely think, all I could think about was how I was ever going to get away from this evil beast, that would probably attack and kill me, and feed me to his cubs.
Right when I was thinking all this stuff, I heard two gun shots, and then noticed that the evil panther lay dead, and bloody, I soon came to notice that it was my uncle, I was so glad that he had came, and with a gun, a good gun. I ran to him with tears streaking down my face, he gave me a huge hug, and held me tightly, rocking me back and forth, and telling me it was okay, and that I was now safe.
I then got into my uncles pickup, and he drove me back to his place, without anyone saying a single word. I rushed into the house, face as white as snow, my mother told me, saw my mother, ran to her, and sobbed for the longest time.
I figured from that day forth, I was never going into the forest without a good gun, with bullets, and maybe an extra person just incase.
I was very glad that I had reached home, well, at least my uncles home, where I was safe and sound, from any kind of danger, and for the rest of the day, I kept thanking God that he had kept me safe.
