I wrote this poem when my mother and I had some very hard times. She died about a year and a half ago.I miss her very much but at the same time I hope that others can relate to this when they read it.

There is so much I'd like to say to you,If only I had the time. You were never there when I needed you most,Life had no reason or rhyme.I'd love to forgive you for all your mistakes,And help take back all that you've done. But when "mistakes" happen again and again,For me, it's not all that fun.You say you never meant to hurt me,You say it was never your fault. And that I'll never understand the pain you went through,To give me the life that I have. But what you don't know is I never have healed,And probably never will.It would take leaps and bounds and your help to,To get me over that hill. And that's not a chance your willing to take,So let's just leave it at that. You come and find me when you're ready to take,Your chance at swinging the bat.
