Verbal harrassment is not a comical issue. It's a deadly interaction that can take an innocent person's life.

You all laugh at me

As if what I said was really funny

She says something else, and you laugh harder

As if my feelings...didn't matter

I stand there, in front of you all

Thanking the wall for stopping my fall

Yet I shrink back within myself

Silently praying, silently calling for help

She makes another joke, and you all laugh

Now suddenly I feel trapped

I close my eyes, and plug my ears

Trying to believe that I'm anywhere but here

Yet I continue hearing the words

That damages me inside, deep to the core

I pull into myself tighter

Hoping to drown out the laughter

But I continue to hear the thing you said

I continue hearing you say "I wish you were dead!"

I lay my head on the floor, holding myself in

Just wishing that maybe this is the end

The laughing stops, and the voices fade

No more do the words she says

I hold myself longer, just waiting for something

I keep myself under, hiding from everything

Time ticks by slowly, soon its the next day

Still I'm waiting for more words, she usually says

But nothing comes out, everyone's left

Because those words they said, drove me to my death
