it's a chapter from a book I'm writing.

"Are you guys ready to order?” Asked the server at IHop. “I’ll take the breakfast sampler!” I replied, trying to be the first one to order from my group of friends. It was a lovely morning, you know those days where it’s not too cold, and not too hot but just right? Well that is exactly how that day was. Me, and a couple other friends had ditched lunch and our sixth, and seventh periods to go eat at IHop. Which at the moment it seemed perfectly fine, and now that I’m writing it, it just sounds crazy! The waiter came back with our food, and we all began to eat. As we were eating my best friend at the time; A.R, had just received a phone call. “Hello?” ”We’re at IHop, want to come?” “Alright bro, sounds good!” I had not one clue to who he was talking to, I mean all of the friends we talked to from school where sitting right at that table, and so me being nosy and all quickly asked, “Who’s that?” He responded, “Romeo’s going to come.” I didn’t know who Romeo was in person, nor did I actually care. I had seen him in pictures, and had heard of him from a girl at my school who was like in lust with him, but he was an older guy and he would never be attracted to us younger gals. I actually thought he was pretty ugly, and I’d always tell her to get over him, and that he was not that big a deal. Well he was coming to IHop, and I was going to meet him for the very first time. I continued to eat my food, I was actually almost done. When all of a sudden I looked up, and I saw the most handsome, beautiful, guy walking towards us. I had my mouth open, and was completely speechless. It was like a, hubba hubba moment, with heart eyes pounding from my eyes, and my tongue almost sticking out all the way out my mouth, kind of thing. He was coming closer, and closer. Finally he sat down with us, and said, “What’s up.”
