Summary

To all the people racing around trying to better their material lives, to folk who are not satisfied with what they have or who they are. Stop and look around you, take a minute to see what you have, see what is staring you in the face and enjoy this place called Earth.

I bless this day so fresh and new

Air still and silent, ground full of dew

The morning sun rising in the sky

Birds singing out loud as they fly

The flowers they bloom in the summer air

The squirrels run free without a care

The trees are full of colour and life

The bluebells so sweet, their scent so rife

A blue tit is busy feeding it’s young

A blackbird takes water after it’s sung

The world is now a peaceful place

A kind of warm feeling you can’t replace

Sit back and enjoy nature at it’s best

Be sure to enjoy this life that we’re blessed

So forget the list of  things to do

Just enjoy this day so fresh and new
