Summary

I wrote this for a friend to send to her daughter in the hope that it may get her to stop and think about what she was doing with her young life.

Hey Katrina you need to know
How much I care and love you so

Please don’t go and ruin your young live
You will only cause yourself trouble and strife

Why don’t you get some friends of your own age
To have true friendships, to chat and engage

You will find no future in the circles you keep
People using you, please get out before it’s too deep

You need a childhood to laugh and to share
Friends are a blessing, to talk to, to care

What can I do to help you right now?
Where do I turn to and protect you somehow?

I want to protect you this is for sure
You need to know this and I can assure

I will always be here if you need me at anytime
To know you are safe and happy would be sublime

I love you please know and I always will
Have hope and aspirations, a life to fulfil
