A world where the future is predefined
And unhappiness is just a frame of mind

Yet despair is physical, pain won’t subside
Clutching, tearing and gnawing inside

Fear hangs like a weight about to explode
Where mind and body clash, and senses erode

Thoughts and emotions well up in confusion
A passage to safety is met with delusion
