Childhood, childhood.
Where are you now?
I miss you day by day.
Youthful years has took its bows.
And seems so far away.

Childhood, childhood.
Please come back.
New children took your spot.
Innocence is what I lack.
Peer pressure grows a lot.

Childhood, childhood.
Tell me why..
Did you ever leave?
The stress of growth, of getting old.
Is too much to believe.

Responsible, responsible.
Is what I’m forced to be.
Bills, and babies, schooling too.
Nothing will be free.

So do not rush your childhood, kids.
Or quickly grow up fast.
Playful dreams are not redeemed.
Reality lives last.
