Calloused fingers dance over her skin,
a gasp rings out as she breathes in,
A lustful groan leaks from parted lips,
fingers digging into and grasping onto hips.

Her cheeks turn a deep and shameful red,
as he pushes her down against his makeshift bed.
She feels bare and exposed with her morals worn so thin,
as she aches for release from the confines of her skin.

Words remain unspoken and linger in the depths of her mind,
echoing about, eternally confined.

Each syllable she uttered had once been so much more,
A thought she’d felt -- but speaking had become such a chore
Everything that had once felt natural on a whim
seemed to shy away when she was pressed so close to him

She feared the unknown and the consequences with it,
her overthinking and indecision came by force of habit.
She waited for her choice to rush out and meet his advances
before she considered, again, the benefit of taking chances.

She couldn’t say if she wanted this, she didn’t know,
she’d planned to stop, she’d planned to go.

But the ache of her body for his grew stronger.
Burning, yearning, and touching longer.
