Your toxicity is ever so sweet,
Our memories from past times are revived,
My lusterless soul ignites when we meet,
With you, I have never felt so alive.
I felt so safe within your embraces,
Although they were always restrained from me,
I fell for you on a daily basis,
But you were ashamed for others to see.
I’ve always wanted you to have my heart,
I would have given it freely to you,
For it was always that way from the start,
And I still wish you felt the same way too.
But as you have written down once before,
It is you not me and we are no more.
