I thought that I,

No longer cared,

Cause I said goodbye,

But I wasn't prepared,

For the return of pain,

That comes with you,

Just your name,

Cuts me through,

I thought I'd fallen in love,

With someone else,

Thought that I was above,

Losing myself,

How can I still love you,

I thought I'd moved on,

Thought you did too,

Now I see I was wrong,

The way you talk to me,

Brings back so many,

Memories,

But thats the past,

It's gone and dead,

Love never lasts,

When you're filled with dread.
