Obedience, or the Lying Tale

My nose grows as my lips move,

a bunch of words come falling out.

My eyes move from the floor to the ceiling

because the words I say have no meaning.

I dont look up because ill meet your gaze

and I know you'll leave me in a haze.

I know I said I would never lie

but this one time i've never cried.

I'm sorry mom,

I really am

please forgive me

for who I am.
