"Reflection"

A young lady came home from school;

she had a bad day, and felt like nobody cared.

She walked in front of her mirror and said,

"Mirror, Mirror, on the wall,

Who's the saddest girl of all?"

"I know you expect the answer to be you,

But, my dear, this is not true.

For the child down the street,

Doesn't have a bite to eat."

"Well, Mirror, Mirror, on the wall,

Who is the maddest girl of all?"

"I know you expect he answer to be you,

But, my dear, this is not true,

For the mom and dad on the corner,

Had an argument, and they both have now met the coroner."

"Well, Mirror, Mirror, on the wall,

Who's the ugliest girl of all?"

"I know you expect the answer to be you,

But, my dear, this is not true.

For God made all in his image of love and might,

Therefore ugliness isn't in his sight."

"Mirror, Mirror, on the wall,

Who's the most unlucky girl of all?"

"I know you expect the answer to be you,

But, my dear, this is not true,

For the baby down the hall,

Was thrown into a wall."

"Mirror, Mirror, on the wall,

Who is the lonliest girl of all?"

"I know you expect the answer to be you,

But, my dear, this is not true,

For the widow the age of 72,

Lost the only one she would talk to."

The young lady fell ill with a simple cold.

"Mirror, Mirror, on the wall,

Who is the sickest girl of all?"

"I know you expect the answer to be you,

But, my dear, this is not true,

For the teenager strung on meth,

Does not know she's close to death."

"Mirror, Mirror, on the wall,

Who's the most challenged girl of all?"

"I know you expect the answer to be you,

But, my dear, this is not true,

For  the lady next door

is alone and poor."

"Mirror, Mirror, on the wall,

Who is the most selfish girl of all?"

"I know you expect the answer to be you,

Yes, my dear, this is true.

For you feel you experience problems beyond belief,

But others are only seeking relief."

"Mirror, Mirror, on the wall,

Who's the most blessed one of all?"

"I know you expect the answer to be you,

Yes, my dear, this is true.

For you realized your mistake,

And now it is as if you are awake."

"Mirror, Mirror, on the wall

Who's the luckiest girl of all?"

"I know you expect the answer to be you,

But, my dear, this is not true.

For luck does not exist

It is miricales that top that list."

One week later, she died in a wreck.

"Mirror, Mirror, on Heaven's wall,

Who is the happiest girl of all?"

"I know you expect the answer to be you,

Yes, my dear, this is true.'

For you did what was right,

And now you have entered through Heaven's light.
