Is the truth so hard to face?

Or is it easier to let me live with your disgrace?

You claimed you were my friend,

But, you just used me in the end.

You toyed with my emotions,

Then kicked me to the curb, with a horrible demotion.

Locked me in a cage to bare all your blame.

Left me alone to carry your lies and shame.

One day you will forget,

And so will begin your regret.

Your own words will negate.

Soon your lies will seal your fate.
