Last Wishes

Don’t drag me out of where I hide
Please let the shadows take me
I have no will to be found alive
Just shut my eyes so I don’t see

I hear the echoes from all around
Playing tag against the wall
I feel the cold although it is summer
Beating me until I fall

My eyes have teared, my wrists have bled
As the world outside carries on
I clasp my hands and pray out loud
That this hell will not last long

All I want is for someone to look
Nonstop until I’m found
Someone who’d care and would lose sleep
Wandering these grounds
