Meeting
‘Prima!’ Mum called, ‘Some boy is here to see you, says he knows you from school or something.’
‘Sure mum,’ I answered back. Great! It was probably Alex, this annoying boy I met at school last week; and he hasn’t left me alone all week.
‘Hello... Alex,’ I said glumly, staring down at his feet.
‘Hi Prim,’ he replied cheerfully.
Just what I needed, I thought to myself.
‘I’ll leave you two alone then,’ my mum said with a smile and walked off.
I cringed internally than turned back to the annoying boy who was giving me an unnecessary visit.
‘So... Why did you come here, Alex?’ I asked him dully, this was going to be a long visit.
‘I just thought you’d like someone to hang with,’ He said with a goofy grin, ‘With you being the new kid and stuff.’
I rolled my eyes at him, which make him grin even more.
‘Sure, thanks,’ I replied.
‘Great,’ he said, and smiled.
Even being so annoying, he wasn’t half bad after all.
“Great,” I had said, smiling at her.
Prima Rose, the newbie at my school and really hot. But she didn’t seem to like me much.
She had than invited me into her house, messy – but cool. I had looked around with interest, eyeing all the different things I saw; she was totally more than meets the eye.
‘So you just visit every new person’s house?’ She asked me sarcastically.
‘Nope,’ I answered her, unable to help grinning again.
‘So, why’d you decide to visit me than?’ She asked, more curious now.
‘I... I guess I just thought you’d like some company,’ I told her, truthfully.
‘Nothing is wrong with being a lone wolf,’ she told me earnestly.
‘Oh, that is true,’ I said, thinking now.
Was that what she liked? No company... Maybe.
‘Er...’ She said, thinking too.
‘So,’ I said, on a happier note, ‘You like your new school?’
She rolled her eyes and laughed. ‘It’s okay.’
‘Not what you’re used to eh? Country girl,’ I teased.
‘Definitely more crowded than my old school,’ she admitted.
‘Hmmm...’ I said, trailing off in thought.
You how I said he wasn’t half bad. Well there is a totally different side to Alex that I just got to know in a few short hours. Really, I actually found myself enjoying talking to him; even though, he totally winds me up.
“Bye,” he had said to me, walking out the door and waving as he left.
“Yeah, see ya,’ I had said, waving too.
I then closed the door, leaning against it and breathing in deep breaths. Wow. No other words for it.
‘Well he seems a nice boy,’ mum said, looking over her shoulder and peering down at me.
‘Yeah,’ I replied, thinking about him. ‘But he totally ticks me off though.’
‘Oh well,’ my mum said, ‘Boys can be like that, your father included.’
We both giggled at that.
And I was looking forward to seeing Alex again, that really annoying boy who I kind of liked; but I didn’t know I was heading that way.

Thanks for reading this story, I hope you like it. I will write another chapter tomorrow or hopefully soon. But I will be going away to Queensland. Until, fingers crossed.
I would really appreciate feedback and reviews, no bad comments please. I’m just new at this and trying my best to do a good job. Thanks, Bronze.
