How do we escape our thoughts,

We fear what might happen but is not certain,

We think what must not be thought,

We must exept we are just puppets,

Limp, half-dead bodies that wander hoping to be fed,

What have we done wrong,

Do you  remember that?

Do you remember the silent witnesses,

They stood alone hoping they weren't next,

Hope was all we could hope for,

There was no certainty,

We had what we had and never more,

We watched as our family slowly crept away,

One by one they disappeared,

Do you remember,

You must,

Your memories are the only things they cant take away,

Please remember.
