Soldiers

Broughton Wallace

Surrounded by this chaos

In the moon's threatening light

We ask ourselves as soldiers

Is it time to die or fight?

With the sun black above

And this world devoid of love

As soldiers we will fight till we die

With thorns by my feet

I tread this earth looking for hope

In the eyes of the strong and the weak

Some shred to use as rope

To hold on above the storm

Of hatred and liars

Surrounded by this chaos

In the moon's threatening light

We ask ourselves as soldiers

Is it time to die or fight?

With the sun black above

And this earth devoid of love

As soldiers we will fight till we die

With darkness as our daylight

We stumble blindly through the cold

Mortals lose their might

And they lose courage to be bold

We need something stronger

Than the force that pains us

Surrounded by this chaos

In the moon's threatening light

We ask ourselves as soldiers

Is it time to die or fight?

With the sun balck above

And this earth devoid of love

As soldiers we will fight till we die

This corrupt world!

Dissolve in Light!

Be purged by Glory tonight!

Drunk in lust!

Hatred of trust!

You will rot covered in dust!

Last chance, believe

Bow down, be freed

Your days are numbered

Your soul encumbered

Surrounded by this chaos

In the moon's threatening light

We ask ourselves as soldiers

Is it time to die or fight?

With the sun black above

And this eath devoid of love

As soldiers we will fight till we die
