Every day, there isn't a moment,

that your very existence

Fails to breach my mind.

I can't help but remember,

Of all the times,

That our bodies were destined to be,

Completely lost, and intertwined.

I can't help but dream,

if the stars were to become aligned

That I could start from beginning,

And learn how to read between the lines.

I can't help but see,

Your lightly glowing emerald eyes,

Deeply, intimately

Staring straight back into mine.

I can't help but wish,

That I was strong enough to break free

From the torment I've given myself,

For something that was never meant to be.

Your voice continues to reverberate through my ears

To my very soul,

It chills me to the bone

Teach me how you move on,

Tell me how you did it with such ease

I'm sitting here struggling,

you've got me on my knees.

Relieve me,

If you loved me at all.
