This is a simple poem about having "everything" and "nothing" at the same time just because you don't have your soul-mate by your side. Money can bring us limited happiness; it can take us far, buy us the things we desire, but it can't fill the void a loved-one leaves. I hope you all enjoy it.

I’ve seen many sunset afternoons;
I’ve seen the other side of the moon.
I’ve heard the cry of a new-born child;
Lions freely running in the wild.

I’ve smelled the flowers on the spring;
been woken up by the guitar strings.
And even though my sky is blue,
there’s nothing if I don’t have you.

I’ve walked a thousand miles;
I’ve given a million smiles.
I’ve seen all of the stars collide;
my eyes have been opened wide.

I’ve been kissed by the blowing breeze;
I’ve seen the seven seas.
And even though all of this is true,
why am I still holding on to you?
