CAST OF CHARACTERS

--Joe "Flash" McGrurry (a lopsided hit man that lives above the dog kennel)

--Yashiito "Joe" Amoto (takes care of the business end of the herring empire)

--Joseph Johnson Grub (a future auto accident fatality)

--Joe Josephson (admits to swimming 1/18th of the English Channel before sinking)

--Joe, Joseph's son (will lose an earlobe and his cigarette lighter in the wreck that takes his father's life)

--Max A. Million (wealthy, rapidly fading grandfather)

scene--Max is dying.  He calls everyone to his bedside to talk about passing on his fortune and promptly passes out.  When he comes to, he lives long enough to shout out only one word.

MAX:  JOE!
