Back about a week ago, Teri Cross Chetwood sent me an email asking for a favor. She had written a scene for her fifth book "The House With The Frowning Fencepost", and hated the lyrics of the song she had come up with that played in the background while Gretchen was dancing. She wanted some original lyrics that a stripper would want to dance to. This is what I wrote for her.

When you walked in through the door,
The ceiling fan just stopped.
The lights dimmed in the smokey room,
And all the ice cubes popped.

You looked at me, when our eyes met,
I saw your midnight smile.
Babe, you are the one I want,
You won't even have to try.

Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on,
I'll be your sugar candy,
Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on,
Be my honey man.

Forget those girls, you don't have to look,
I have the sweetest candy.
You were made for me tonight,
Come on, nibble 'til I'm empty.

Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on,
I'll be your sugar candy,
Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on,
Be my honey man.
