What if you woke one morning and discovered all of your dreams had come true

But you weren't sure if you were waking in a dream or dreaming you woke up?

What would you do?

Would you try to climb the highest mountain?

If you couldn't find one, would you lie down

And float past the highest peaks of your imagination?

What if your squares lost their corners

And your circles went flat

Just when you thought you were rolling in the right direction?

Would you care what shape, size, or color you were?

What if September desired March,

And June was jealous of October,

But April was just another lady in a check-out line,

A lady who was the only person who had smiled at you in over a week?

What if it started snowing in July

On the hottest day of the year,

And when you went outside the drifts were two feet deep,

And you realized you had a sun burn and frost bite at the same time

And there wasn't one damn thing you could do about it?

Would you blaze in anger

Or rejoice in wonder?

What if all of your rights were wrong,

Your ins were out,

Your reds were blue,

And your hards were soft,

And no matter how hard you tried nothing seemed to make sense,

And when you tried to walk across the room you kept turning,

Tighter with every step,

Until you were spinning crazily like a demented top?

Would you lose your sense of self,

Your sense of perspective?

Could you still find your life?

What if you heard a soft whisper sighing in the branches,

And the words were, "I love you,"

But the only person near you was a stranger?

Would you whisper too,

Or would you just grow tired?

And when you woke up again,

Would you discover all of your dreams had come true?
