Eyes ever so inviting yet a hint of grey

Surrounded by greens and blues they

mix in only your way.

A window into your soul, the curtains closed.

I feel that if I open I'll only be opposed.

It's not dark inside, you're underrated

Even with eyes wide shut I can see you're illuminated.

Your presence I breathe through lungs of the heart

Your scent I feel inside my skin, to love is only a start.

Your touch wakens me within like a soldier on duty

Your image soothes tired eyes with unending beauty.

It's your smile that touches me everywhere

Indents on the edges, no perfection. I don't care.

If only these words met your eyes,

Would you see me without my disguise?

He lives in mind and heart, a friend to continue

As the Kings say 'Well I can't help falling in love with you'.
