Friends we are, Forever friends we'll be,
Maryanne, Sam, Ashley, Molly, Emily and me.
We've been friends for such a long time,
But no matter the distance, you'll always be a friend of mine.
We laugh and joke about the past,
But secretly we fear that our friendship will not last.
We've been through so much these past few years,
We've laughed so hard, and cried so many tears.
One thing I've learned is we are more than friends, we're family now and forever,
No matter where people look they'll always see us together.
I hope you all know just how special you are to me,
Not just one of you, or two or even three.
You all hold a special place in my heart,
For I fear the day when we must part.
It has always been the six of us together,
For we'll remember that now and forever.
I'll miss Maryanne, my sister, my friend;
I'll always know that she'll be with me til the end.
I'll always miss my shopping buddy, Sam,
For she makes me happy and makes me who I am.
When I think of Ashley, I think of dolphins in the sea,
And then I realize how much she has been therefor you and for me.
Molly, my other half,
We have a special kind of bond that will forever last.
Emily, the warm and gentle one,
For when she enters the room, the fun has just begun.
The six of us together til time is through,
We're not embarrassed to say "I love you."
You are my family, my friends,
Oh, how I pray this time will not end.
Friends we are, forever friends we'll be,
Maryanne, Sam, Ashley, Molly, Emily and me.
