The bewitching hour, casting spells by candlelight. I had such fun imagining a young beautiful maiden excited to cast her first spell! Enjoy.

Her body’s strong in the dead of night, casting spells by candlelight.

Standing tall, embodied with power, so close it is to the bewitching hour.

Her heart is pure, her missions bright, to cast this spell and do it right.

The cauldron stirs, its contents long, each handpicked for this spell’s song.

The elements four, she calls to thee, asking each to hear her plea:

Cast a circle, with thy might, the Goddess here is eternal light.”

“Earth, air, water, and fire, come to me and my heart’s desire.”

She calls up the thunder and the rain, the wind, the heat and the flames.

Nature’s the solution and beckons all, for in it lies an answering call.

The circles complete, the spell at last, the witch is hopeful as she casts.

She puts her energies into the night, her call is answered by morning’s light.

As dawn arrives and her work’s completed, she smiles realizing she has not been defeated.

Her heart is light, her mind is free, she has willed it so, and so mote it be.
