RIP me to pieces,
So I too can lie down,
Right next to you,
In the sweet embracing ground.

You might be at rest,
But there's no peace here,
You haunt my every step,
I feel you so near...

I can't touch you,
So I wish you'd leave,
Don't want memories,
And don't wanna grieve.

I hate you for going,
I know it's not fair,
But you left so much,
Like you didn't care.

But I miss you so much,
I really can't deal,
There's just too much,
For me to feel.

Left behind all I can do is cry,
Sorting through mixed emotions,
An endless struggle to breathe,
Past another salty ocean.

Rest in peace,
And don't worry about me,
Of these emotions,
I will one day be free.
