Just something I would like to bring to some peoples awareness that I have noticed. Nothing important, just sharing what I think.

Over my time spent on booksie I have discovered many things such as; the amount of unnoticed writers who deserve a name for themselves amongst the more famous, the genuinely nice people who willingly offer their time and advice to better our writing community and the lack of comments on some deserving pieces.
Before I continue I would like to make sure that everyone reading is familiar with my mindset in writing this. I my self am not trying to gain more comments or fans by ranting about lack of comments. Actually this article has little to do with myself at all, but more the community as a whole.
I see many pieces with five, ten, twenty readers, but no comments or likes. Of course I’ll always read the writing to see maybe why no one has left anything and to see if I could offer any helpful advice. I’ll be honest most of the time I’m excepting some poorly written poem about suicide by knife, but more times then not I’m pleasantly surprised with an excellent poem or story. That then leads me to wonder why no one has taken a couple seconds of their time to leave their thoughts and encourage our writes to continue what they‘re doing. I know personally that sometimes it’s nice to see that people actually like what your doing and that you should continue on. As writers most of us strive for the best writing we can generate, so why not let them know what you think? And if the writing isn’t that great then maybe try giving advice or some suggestions of  how it could get better. Not all of us are great at proof reading and I know that I appreciate when people point out grammatical and spelling errors, so I can change them and make my writing look better.
Today I make a pledge to always comment on what I read in a thoughtful manner. I know a lot of you hear about chain reactions and what not so why don’t we start today, and form a comment chain or what ever you want to call it, and share with each other some helpful ideas.
